How to Make a Clay Pot Lighthouse

Easy to do and makes a Great Gift and you can also put a solar powered light  on the top for a nice effect
and these are not expensive to make and takes about an hour of time

You will need:

6" clay saucer
8" tall clay pot
10" tall clay pot
Adhesive glue  for ceramics and terracotta Epoxy Glue works great
Black exterior enamel paint spray
Red pinstripe tape (to help paint the stripes)
LED Candle or solar powered light found at hardware or retail stores
Assorted acrylic paints of your choice

Directions

1. First clean your pots so the paint will stick first then paint your pots first. Set the 8" pot on top of the 10" pot.

 2. Paint it with red and white stripes. Add in rocks and trees. Spray paint saucer black. Allow them all to dry.

3. Glue the pots together. Glue the saucer to the top of the pots.

4. Glue the solar light or candle holder to the top of the saucer. Allow to dry before moving.

now sit back and enjoy, you can even decorate them to be fairy or Gnome houses .

Tip Paint the main windows at the top of the tower under the black roof. The windows can have a yellow light for nighttime or light blue highlighting for daytime.

Note you can do this to plastic pots too  just  glue stones to the inside of the pot to help weigh it down so it does not  fall over
